Experience? we definitely have stories or experiences we've ever experienced, sad, happy or scary. We can tell it again with friends or family. Story or experience of the past often called recount text.

Guys,now I will explain about the recount text.

  Recount text is a text that tells us about what had happened in series of event in sequence.

The function of recount text is to tell an event in the past time chronologically.

® The generic structure of recount text:

® Key to language features:

            Ä Past tense;

Ä Indicates when;

Ä Focuses on individuals;

Ä Action term;

Ä Indicates where.

Example:

            Mr. And Mrs. Charly were on a tour to Europe.

            They were travelling on a guided tour to five countries. They were going to travel throught the Netherlands,Belgium,Germany,Switzerland, and France for two weeks.

            The giude for the tour was a Swiss. On the first day of the travel the guide told them to check their passports, their traveller cheques and their foreign cash. He told them to keep them safely.

            They travelled in a confortable coach with a toilet, music, and video. The gide stopped the coach at many famous place. They stayed a big hotel for the night and ate in restaurant.

            On the way they stopped at small restaurant to eat lunch. In big town, they went to shopping. They bought many souvenirs for they friends. They enjoyed the two-week tour.
